Full job description

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Painter & Decorator to join our team on a CIS basis temporary with the view for full time. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail and a passion for transforming spaces through high-quality painting and decorating work. This role involves working on various projects, ensuring that all tasks are completed to the highest standards of quality and safety.

Duties

Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and priming as necessary.
Apply paint, varnish, and other finishes using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment.
Communicate effectively with clients to understand their vision and requirements.
Maintain tools and equipment in good working order.
Drive to various job sites as required, ensuring timely arrival and completion of tasks.
Follow health and safety regulations at all times to ensure a safe working environment.

Requirements

Proven experience in painting and decorating is essential.
Ability to communicate effectively in English with clients and team members.
A valid driving licence is preferred for travel to job sites.
Strong attention to detail with an artistic flair for colour selection and design.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
