Job Overview

Hours 2pm to 10pm every Saturday & Sunday.

Option to do extra weekday hours when and if available.

We are seeking a friendly and proactive Weekend Sales Assistant to join our team. This role involves engaging with customers, promoting products, and ensuring an excellent shopping experience during weekend hours. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, organisational abilities, and a passion for sales. Bilingual candidates, especially those fluent in Spanish and English, are highly encouraged to apply. This position offers an opportunity to develop valuable retail skills in a dynamic environment.

Duties

Greet customers warmly and provide outstanding customer service throughout their visit
Assist customers in selecting products and answer any questions regarding merchandise
Upsell products and promote special offers to maximise sales opportunities
Organise merchandise displays to ensure attractive and accessible presentation
Maintain store cleanliness and organise stock levels efficiently
Handle transactions accurately using the point-of-sale system, including processing payments and issuing receipts
Support with merchandising tasks to ensure the store remains visually appealing and well-stocked
Manage time effectively during busy periods to serve multiple customers efficiently

Experience

Previous experience in retail or customer service is advantageous but not essential; full training will be provided
Strong communication skills, including active listening and clear articulation
Basic maths skills for handling transactions accurately
Organisational skills to manage stock levels and maintain tidy displays
Proven ability to upsell products and enhance customer satisfaction through excellent service
