Pay: £40,000.00–£45,000.00 per year (Including OTE/Bonus Scheme)

Job Overview – MOT Tester / Service Technician Ken's Garage, Kildary

Ken's Garage is an Authorised Repairer for Peugeot, part of the Stellantis Group—one of the world's largest automotive manufacturers, representing some of the most iconic vehicle brands globally.

About the Role

We are looking to recruit a qualified MOT Tester / Service & Maintenance Technician to join our growing Aftersales team. This is an excellent opportunity to become a key member of our technical department, working with modern vehicle technologies including Hybrid and BEV models.

Key Responsibilities

Carry out routine servicing, maintenance, and repairs
Conduct MOT testing to the highest standards
Ensure quality repairs and first-time fixes for customers
Provide feedback and resolutions via manufacturer technical platforms
Continuously develop technical knowledge, including EV and Hybrid technologies
Lead by example, demonstrating best practice to colleagues
Maintain a clean, safe, and organised workshop environment

What We're Looking For

NVQ Level qualification in Motor Vehicle Technology (IMI or City & Guilds)
MOT Tester qualification (essential)
A/C qualification (preferred)
Franchise experience desirable but not essential
EV/Hybrid training advantageous (full training can be provided)
Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
A passion for learning and sharing knowledge within the team
