We are looking for a reliable and hands-on Furniture Delivery & Installation Operative to join our growing team. This full-time role is ideal for someone over the age of 25 (due to vehicle insurance requirements) who holds a clean UK driving licence and has either experience in office furniture installation or is confident and skilled using tools.
You’ll be part of a team responsible for delivering, assembling, and installing office furniture at client sites. You’ll also assist with relocations, storage logistics, and occasional small works projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Delivering office furniture to client sites across London and the UK
- Assembling and installing desks, chairs, storage units, and other items
- Supporting office relocations, furniture reconfigurations, and clearances
- Loading and unloading vehicles safely and efficiently
- Carrying out basic maintenance or small works as required
- Ensuring excellent customer service and on-site professionalism
- Following health and safety procedures at all times
- Completing delivery paperwork and site reports accurately
Requirements
- Over 25 years old (for insurance purposes)
- Full UK driving licence with a clean record
- Experience in office furniture delivery/installation OR practical experience using tools (handy/DIY skills)
- Good physical fitness – this role involves manual handling and lifting
- Strong work ethic, punctuality, and reliability
- Ability to work as part of a team and on own initiative
- Willingness to travel and work flexible hours if needed (occasional early starts or late finishes)
Desirable (but not essential)
- CSCS card or similar H&S qualifications
- Experience working on commercial sites or fit-out projects
- Basic understanding of floorplans or assembly instructions
