Key Responsibilities:

Prepare detailed mechanical estimates by reviewing drawings, specifications, and scope.
Conduct quantity take-offs and cost analysis for materials, labor, and equipment.
Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and suppliers to gather required information.
Review subcontractor and supplier quotations to ensure accuracy.
Identify cost-saving opportunities and provide value engineering suggestions.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of market pricing and industry standards.

Requirements

Proven experience as a Mechanical Estimator within the construction or mechanical services industry.
Strong understanding of mechanical systems, including HVAC and plant equipment.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
Proficiency with estimation software and Microsoft Office applications.
Strong analytical and numerical skills.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
Relevant qualifications in mechanical engineering, construction, or related fields are desirable.
