Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and versatile Barista/All Rounder to join our team. This role involves preparing and serving high-quality beverages, providing excellent customer service, and assisting with general tasks around the premises. The ideal candidate will be passionate about delivering a welcoming experience and capable of multitasking efficiently in a fast-paced environment. This paid position offers an opportunity to develop skills in food preparation, customer service, and café operations.

Responsibilities

Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages in accordance with company standards.
Ensure food safety and hygiene standards are maintained at all times.
Assist customers with their orders, providing friendly and efficient service.
Handle cash transactions accurately using the till system.
Maintain cleanliness of workstations, equipment, and customer areas throughout shifts.
Support with food preparation tasks such as assembling sandwiches or snacks when required.
Manage stock levels, restocking supplies as needed to ensure smooth operation.
Uphold health and safety regulations at all times, including proper food handling procedures.
Collaborate with team members to ensure a positive environment for both staff and customers.

Experience

Previous experience as a barista or in a similar customer-facing role is preferred but not essential; training will be provided.
Knowledge of food safety standards is advantageous.
Experience in serving customers efficiently in busy environments is desirable.
Basic maths skills for handling transactions accurately are necessary.
Strong time management skills to prioritise tasks effectively during busy periods.
Ability to work well within a team and adapt to changing demands throughout shifts.
