Job Summary
We are seeking vigilant and professional Security Guard/Supervisors to oversee the safety and security of premises. The ideal candidate will be responsible for monitoring activities, preventing loss, and ensuring a secure environment for staff, visitors, and assets. This role requires strong observational skills, leadership qualities, and the ability to respond effectively to emergencies. The position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment.
Driving licence and own vehicle preferred to be able to travel to site.
Responsibilities
- Conduct regular surveillance patrols across the premises to monitor for suspicious activity or security breaches.
- Oversee security personnel to ensure adherence to company policies and procedures.
- Implement loss prevention strategies by identifying vulnerabilities.
- Respond promptly to alarms, incidents, or emergencies, including providing first aid when necessary.
- Maintain detailed logs of security activities, incidents, and observations for reporting purposes.
- Enforce access control by checking credentials and managing visitor registers.
- Train new security staff to ensure high standards of vigilance and professionalism.
- Liaise with law enforcement or emergency services during critical incidents or investigations.
Qualifications
- Experience in security operations, surveillance, or loss prevention.
- Knowledge of CCTV systems and surveillance technology.
- First aid certification.
- Able to provide 5 year checkable work history.
- Observational skills and communication both written and verbal.
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and respond effectively in emergency situations.
- Valid SIA Licenses.
Pay: £13.00-£16.00 per hour
