SITE MAINTENANCE & OPERATIONS COORDINATOR
About the Role
Love fixing things properly the first time and leaving spaces better than you found them? You’ll get on well with us. We’re a fast-growing hospitality business looking for two hands-on Maintenance and Health and Safety Coordinators to support the day-to-day presentation, maintenance, safety and operational readiness of the site in the Solihull Area.
You’ll be part of a small on‑site team, working closely with Guest Services and senior management on day‑to‑day issues and occasional guest requests. This is mainly a hands‑on role, but you will be guest‑facing, so we’re looking for people who are presentable, polite and comfortable speaking with guests when needed as well as being job focused.
This is a practical and varied role requiring strong attention to detail, a can-do attitude self-management and pride in maintaining a high-end guest environment. The successful candidates will play a key role in ensuring the site remains safe, clean, operational and maintained to a consistently high standard.

Key Responsibilities
Site Maintenance & Operations
· Attend to maintenance issues within pods and across the wider site
· Carry out reactive and preventative maintenance tasks
· Conduct routine inspections of guest accommodation and communal areas
· Report and coordinate any larger maintenance or contractor requirements
· Ensure all maintenance issues are resolved promptly and professionally
Hot Tub Operations
· Carry out hot tub turn around, testing and routine maintenance
· Monitor water quality and ensure all checks and records are maintained
· Escalate faults or operational concerns where required
Housekeeping & Linen Coordination
· Collect clean linen and coordinate handover of used linen for collection
· Support operational and maintenance turnover requirements between guest stays
· Work closely with housekeeping to resolve reported maintenance issues quickly
Grounds & External Upkeep
· Maintain cleanliness of site and waste and ensure the sit remains free from litter
· Cut grass and maintain borders and landscaped areas
· Keep pathways, walkways and access routes clean and clear
· Wash down pod decking and maintain external areas
· Maintain outdoor furniture in a clean, safe and orderly condition
· Clean external glass doors, windows and balconies
Health, Safety & Compliance Support
· Support day-to-day operational health and safety procedures across site
· Carry out routine safety and compliance checks
· Ensure all Health and Safety and Maintenance records, logs and operational paperwork are kept up to date
· Report and manage hazards, defects or safety concerns promptly
· Support site readiness and daily operation in line with operational and HSE expectations
· Liaise and mitigate with management regarding any compliance, maintenance or operational concerns
Call-Out & Emergency Support
· Provide call-out support for urgent maintenance, operational or site-related issues where required
· Respond promptly to emergency maintenance matters that may impact guest safety, comfort or site operations
· Support out-of-hours escalation and emergencies in coordination with management, security and the Guest Experience Team
· Attend site where reasonably required to resolve urgent issues or make areas safe
· Escalate any serious defects, safety concerns or incidents to management immediately
Guest Experience Support
· Work alongside the Guest Experience Team to support a smooth and professional guest journey
· Respond promptly to maintenance or site-related issues raised by guests, housekeeping or the Guest Experience Team
· Ensure any guest-facing maintenance issues are dealt with discreetly, professionally and with minimal disruption
· Maintain high presentation standards across all guest-facing areas
· Support the wider team in creating a safe, clean and well-maintained environment for all guests
Candidate Requirements
- Previous experience in maintenance, facilities, hospitality, leisure or similar operational environments
- Practical, hands-on problem solving with a strong work ethic and “get it done” attitude
- Able to work independently, manage your own workload and follow agreed processes
- Good organisational skills and clear, professional communication with colleagues and guests
- Comfortable working both indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Basic understanding of day-to-day health and safety in a workplace or site environment
- Physically able to carry out manual tasks, use tools and move equipment safely
- Full UK driving licence (and access to transport to reach the site) essential
Additional Information
· This is an ongoing, hands-on operational role requiring consistent attention to detail and pride in presentation standards.
· The successful candidate will be expected to maintain the site to a high operational standard at all times and support a safe, professional and guest-focused environment.
· Performance and operational standards will be reviewed monthly to ensure expectations and site requirements are being met.
Pay: £15.00-£18.00 per hour
