Job Overview
We are seeking 2 professional and reliable Class 2 Multi Drop Drivers to join our Pallet Network. The successful candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently across various routes, ensuring timely deliveries while maintaining high standards of safety and customer service. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a passion for driving and a commitment to excellence in freight transportation.

Responsibilities

Safely operate Curtain side lorries and other commercial vehicles to transport goods to designated locations.
Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle, ensuring it is in good working order.
Secure loads properly to prevent damage during transit.
Maintain accurate delivery documentation and logs in accordance with company policies.
Comply with all road safety regulations, traffic laws, and company procedures at all times.
Communicate effectively with transport planners and clients regarding delivery schedules or any unforeseen delays.
Assist with loading and unloading cargo when necessary, adhering to health and safety guidelines.

Skills

Proven experience in commercial driving, particularly with curtain side vehicles.
Strong understanding of driving regulations and safety standards within the UK.
Delivery driver experience is highly desirable, demonstrating reliability and punctuality.
Excellent organisational skills to manage schedules efficiently.
Ability to operate various types of commercial vehicles confidently.
Good communication skills for liaising with clients and team members.
Physical fitness to handle loading/unloading tasks when required. This role is ideal for motivated individuals seeking a dynamic career in freight transportation, committed to safe driving practices and excellent customer service standards.
