Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented Upholstery Cutter to join our manufacturing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for accurately cutting upholstery fabrics and materials according to specified patterns and measurements. Duties
- Cut upholstery fabrics and materials precisely following provided patterns and measurements
- Prepare materials for assembly, ensuring accuracy and quality standards are met
- Operate cutting tools and machinery safely and efficiently
- Organise and maintain a clean, organised work area to adhere to health and safety regulations
- Collaborate with the sewing team to ensure seamless production flow
- Must be able to work on bespoke upholstery
Experience
- Previous warehouse experience is desirable, demonstrating familiarity with handling materials in a fast-paced environment
- Must be experienced in the furniture manufacturing trade
- Attention to detail and accuracy in work are essential qualities for success in this role
- Ability to follow detailed instructions and work independently or as part of a team
