Overview
We are seeking a motivated Workshop Labourer to join our team. This role offers an excellent opportunity to gain practical experience in a dynamic workshop environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting various operational tasks, ensuring smooth workflow, and maintaining safety standards. Prior factory experience essential, but full training will be provided for the right applicant.

Duties

Assisting with the assembly of components using hand tools and power tools
Supporting the organisation and cleanliness of the workshop area
Handling materials and parts within the warehouse or workshop setting
Assisting with loading and unloading lorries or delivery vehicles
Supporting team members in routine maintenance and minor repairs
Ensuring all safety procedures are adhered to during daily operations
Participating in stock organisation and inventory checks as required

Qualifications

Basic workshop knowledge is advantageous but not essential; willingness to learn is key
Experience with hand tools and power tools is beneficial
Previous warehouse or workshop experience is preferred but not mandatory
Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
Good organisational skills and attention to detail
Physical fitness to handle manual tasks, including lifting and standing for extended periods
A proactive attitude with a strong focus on safety and quality standards

Pay: £12.21-£13.00 per hour
