The Programme Development team covering the Desalination and Colchester projects requires an Associate Director to service and support the in-house commercial and procurement teams in place.

The services required are as follows:

Commercial Support in Cost Management for the Colchester AWRC and Demonstration Centre projects.
Contract Management Services to support administration of NEC form contracts.
Procurement lead/specialist services, across both Desalination and Colchester.

You’ll be responsible for:

Providing strategic leadership to deliver client commitments, managing contracts, risk and commercial outcomes.
Upholding ethical, compliant operations, supporting net zero ambitions and responsible business delivery.
Developing high‑performing teams through inclusive leadership, capability building and continuous improvement.
Managing commercial delivery through robust contract administration, commercial reporting, valuations and cost control.
Overseeing claims, change control and certification to achieve timely, compliant project completion.
Inspiring high‑performing cost teams, embedding continuous improvement and best‑practice delivery.
Driving process innovation, enhanced cost management services and net zero carbon outcomes.

You’ll need to have:

Degree in quantity surveying, cost management or equivalent professional discipline.
Chartered membership (MRICS or equivalent) with continued professional development.
Strong commercial acumen, bidding experience and contract law capability.
Proven leadership of diverse teams, senior stakeholders and sustainability‑led outcomes.
