Seasonal Plant Area AssistantOutdoor Seasonal Role | Full Time | Until Late September

At Hollybush Garden Centre, we believe beautiful spaces start with care, attention and pride in the details.

We are looking for a Seasonal Plant Area Assistant to join our outdoor plant team through the busy summer season until late September.

This is a hands-on outdoor role, ideal for university students, gap year candidates, or anyone who enjoys physical work, gardening and being outside.

You will help keep our plant area looking its very best during one of the busiest periods of the year.

What You’ll Be Doing

Watering and caring for plants across the outdoor plant area
Weeding, deadheading and trimming plants
Moving stock and maintaining displays
Sweeping, cleaning and general upkeep of outdoor retail areas
Assisting with deliveries and replenishment
Supporting the wider plant team during busy trading periods
Helping maintain the high standards Hollybush is known for

What We’re Looking For

Physically fit and comfortable working outdoors in all weather
Hard working with a positive attitude
Reliable and punctual
Able to work independently and as part of a team
Comfortable with manual handling and being on your feet all day
An interest in gardening, plants or outdoor work is beneficial but not essential

The Details

Seasonal role until late September 2026
Approx. 40 hours per week
Weekend availability required
National Minimum Wage / National Living Wage applies depending on age
Immediate start available
Based at Hollybush Garden Centre, Wolverhampton
