Overview
We are seeking a reliable and efficient Multi Drop Courier to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering parcels across designated routes, ensuring timely and accurate deliveries. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a passion for driving and customer service to contribute to a dynamic logistics operation. A valid driver’s licence and experience in commercial driving are essential, along with the ability to handle physical tasks such as heavy lifting. The position is full-time and involves working in a fast-paced environment requiring organisational skills and professionalism.
Duties
- Deliver parcels to multiple locations within specified routes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
- Load and unload parcels, may involve occasional heavy lifting, with attention to safety procedures
- Maintain communication with dispatch to confirm delivery schedules and report any issues
- Collect signatures or proof of delivery from recipients as required
- Conduct vehicle inspections before and after shifts to ensure safety standards are met
- Keep accurate records of deliveries made, including any discrepancies or damages
- Follow all traffic laws and company policies during deliveries to ensure safety for self and others
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a delivery driver or courier, preferably but not essential as full training will be given
- Valid driver’s licence with a clean driving record; commercial driving experience is advantageous
- Strong communication skills to interact professionally with customers and team members
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including heavy lifting and prolonged periods of driving or standing
- Organised with excellent time management skills to adhere to delivery schedules
- Knowledge of local roads and navigation systems is preferred

Pay: £12.71-£21.71 per hour
