Part Time Operations Manager for a small but busy housing company. We are looking for a hands-on, experienced operations manager to oversee our team, enforce company processes, and drive performance across the business
Part-time position starting at a minimum of 10 hours a week
Additional Performance related bonuses up to £1000 per month
The Role
You will manage and supervise a small team consisting of:
- Property Portfolio Manager
- Lettings Manager
- Administrator
- Maintenance
Experience in Property Construction & Development is a Bonus.
Your role is to act as the central point of control, ensuring all departments are aligned, efficient, and delivering results.
This is a hands-on position, requiring both oversight and practical involvement where needed.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise day-to-day operations across all departments
- Ensure company processes and procedures are followed and improved
- Hold team members accountable for performance and deadlines
- Support, train, and develop staff
- Oversee maintenance workflows and ensure timely completion of works
- Monitor rent performance, occupancy, and overall business efficiency
- Analyse performance data and report directly to the Director
- Drive continuous improvement across systems and operations

- High occupancy rates
- Strong rent collection and income performance
- Timely completion of maintenance works
- Efficient and well-run office operations
- Improved staff performance and accountability
Requirements (Essential)
- Proven experience in:
- Property Management
- Property Lettings
- Property Maintenance operations
- Experience managing or supervising staff
- Strong organisational and leadership skills
- Ability to enforce processes and drive performance
- Hands-on, proactive approach
Desirable (Not Essential)
- Experience with systems, automation, or process improvement
- Administrative or accounts knowledge
- Construction, Development or facilities management background

Salary
£20–£25 per hour (depending on experience)
