About Us
Phoenix Fabrications SW Ltd is a growing specialist fabrication and ventilation contractor based in Newton Abbot, delivering high-quality ductwork and ventilation solutions across commercial, industrial, and residential projects throughout the South West and beyond.
Due to continued growth, we are seeking an experienced and motivated Ductwork / Ventilation Project Manager to join our team and oversee projects from initial handover through to completion.
The Role
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing multiple ductwork and ventilation projects, ensuring they are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage ductwork and ventilation projects from award through to completion.
- Liaise with clients, main contractors, consultants, and site teams.
- Plan and coordinate labour, materials, and subcontractors.
- Monitor project progress, costs, and programme schedules.
- Attend site meetings and carry out site visits as required.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Manage procurement and material schedules.
- Identify and resolve project issues proactively.
- Maintain strong client relationships and identify opportunities for future work.
Requirements
Essential
- Previous experience managing ductwork, ventilation, HVAC, or mechanical services projects.
- Strong organisational and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office and project management software.
Desirable
- Experience within the ductwork fabrication and installation sector.
- Knowledge of HVAC systems and building services coordination.
