About the role:
As a Casting Technician, you’ll support our Engineering and Production teams in preparing and controlling the metal casting process. You’ll ensure materials meet specification, maintain a safe working environment, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
What you’ll be doing:

Preparing and controlling metal casting processes to meet production schedules.

Performing checks to ensure material quality and specification compliance.

Managing the casting area for efficient workflow.

Supporting sampling and production activities for repeatable processes.

Maintaining accurate records and documentation.

Implementing safe working practices in a high-temperature environment.

Assisting with audits and process improvements.
Who we’re looking for:
You’ll bring experience and a proactive approach to working in a technical environment. Essential skills include:

Experience of foundry processes and ideally automotive quality standards.

Knowledge of health and safety legislation and safe working practices.

Manual handling and HSE awareness training.

Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Good communication skills, both verbal and written.

Crane slinger, bobcat or overhead crane training (or willingness to train).

Ability to travel to site.
