Product Data Coordinator
About the Role
We are looking for a methodical and proactive Production Systems Administrator to maintain and improve the accuracy of our production planning system.
This role combines office-based system administration with regular interaction on the shop floor. You will work closely with production staff to understand how products are manufactured, establish accurate production routes and operation times, and ensure this information is correctly maintained within our Sicon CRP system.
The successful candidate will enjoy understanding manufacturing processes, gathering information from people, and ensuring production data accurately reflects reality.
Key Responsibilities
- Review and document production processes and workflows.
- Work with production operators and supervisors to establish accurate operation times and manufacturing routes.
- Create, update, and maintain production routings and process information within the Sicon CRP system.
- Ensure system data accurately reflects current manufacturing methods and capacities.
- Investigate and resolve discrepancies between planned and actual production activities.
- Support production planning by maintaining accurate and reliable production data.
- Assist with the continuous improvement of manufacturing processes and system accuracy.
- Produce reports and information as required to support operational decision-making.
Skills & Experience Essential
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- A methodical and structured approach to work.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Confidence working with production staff at all levels.
- Good IT skills, including Microsoft Excel.
- Ability to gather, analyse, and accurately record information.
Desirable
- Experience within a manufacturing or production environment.
- Experience using ERP, MRP, or production planning systems.
- Familiarity with Sicon CRP or similar manufacturing software.
- Understanding of production planning, routing, capacity planning, or manufacturing processes.
The Ideal Candidate
You may currently work in production administration, manufacturing administration, production planning support, engineering administration, or a similar role.
Most importantly, you will be someone who enjoys understanding how things are made, can build good relationships with production teams, and takes pride in maintaining accurate information that supports efficient manufacturing operations.
Pay: From £13.50 per hour
