Duties
- Constructing walls using cotswold stone
- Preparing surfaces by cleaning, chiselling, and setting out work areas accurately
- Operating hand tools such as chisels, hammers, trowels, and levels with precision
- Adhering to health and safety regulations at all times during project execution
Requirements
- Proven experience in bricklaying, masonry, or related construction roles
- Proficiency with hand tools and power tools used in masonry work
- Knowledge of bricklaying techniques and materials
- Ability to read technical drawings and blueprints accurately
- Strong organisational skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Physical fitness to handle lifting heavy materials and perform demanding manual tasks over extended periods
- Relevant qualifications or apprenticeships in masonry or construction are advantageous
