Are you an organised, people-focused administrator looking for a varied and rewarding role? Join the Oxford Construction Skills Centre and play a vital part in supporting learners, tutors, and employers in a dynamic training environment.
The Role
As a Part-Time Administrator, you’ll be at the heart of the centre’s day-to-day operations, ensuring everything runs smoothly. From supporting learners through enrolment to coordinating events and managing communications, no two days will be the same.
This role offers a mix of daytime hours and some evening work (9pm latest), giving you the opportunity to support our busy training schedule, including evening courses.
Key Responsibilities

Coordinate and manage course bookings, enquiries, and applications.
- Support learners throughout admissions and enrolment.
- Maintain accurate records and ensure data integrity.
- Monitor and respond to faculty inboxes.
- Provide high-quality administrative support to managers and teaching staff.
- Liaise with internal teams including MIS, Finance, and IT.
- Organise faculty events and manage social media channels.
- Coordinate interviews and recruitment activity within the faculty.
- Manage financial processes and documentation.
- Handle communications, including calls, emails, and correspondence.
- Support learner voice initiatives and engagement activities.

Essential:

Level 2 (or above) in English, and Maths.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent organisation and attention to detail.

- Confidence using Microsoft Office and data systems.
- Experience working with the public and as part of a team.
Desirable:

Experience in a customer-focused environment.
- Familiarity with a wider range of IT systems.
