Job Overview
Reformer Pilates Instructor

We are currently seeking a confident and enthusiastic instructor to lead a regular Monday evening Reformer Pilates class.

Cover Instructors

We are also looking to build a reliable team of cover instructors who can step in to teach classes throughout the week when required.

We currently run 11 Reformer Pilates classes per week, with plans to expand our timetable and introduce additional classes in the near future. This means there may be opportunities for further regular teaching hours as our programme grows.

Responsibilities

Lead and instruct reformer Pilates classes tailored to various skill levels, ensuring safety and proper technique.
Develop customised programmes that meet individual client needs and fitness goals.
Provide clear demonstrations of exercises and offer modifications as required.
Monitor client progress and offer constructive feedback to enhance performance.
Maintain a clean and organised studio environment, ensuring all equipment is safe and well-maintained.
Foster a welcoming, motivating atmosphere that encourages client retention and satisfaction.
Stay informed about the latest developments in Pilates techniques and anatomy to continually improve teaching quality.

Qualifications

Proven experience in sports coaching or fitness instruction, with reformer Pilates certification.
Strong teaching skills with the ability to communicate effectively and motivate clients.
Knowledge of human anatomy relevant to Pilates exercises, with an understanding of injury prevention.
Previous experience working with diverse client groups is desirable.
Organised, professional, and passionate about promoting health and wellness through exercise.

Pay: From £35.00 per hour
