Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and Semi Skilled HGV Technician to join our dedicated team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and experience in the maintenance and repair of heavy goods vehicles. This role is essential for ensuring the reliability and safety of our fleet, providing high-quality service to our customers.
Duties
- Conduct regular maintenance, safety inspections and repairs on HGVs, ensuring compliance with safety regulations to MAN, Volvo, DAF & Mercedes vehicles.
- Perform diagnostics using diagnostics to identify issues and implement effective solutions.
- Completing MOT Preparations.
- Carry out electrical repairs and maintenance, demonstrating proficiency in electrical systems.
- Maintain a clean and organised work environment, adhering to health and safety standards.
Experience
- Proven experience as an HGV Technician or similar role in vehicle maintenance.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in equipment repair and assembly.
