We have six campuses across the city with over 4,500 full time learners and 10,000 part time learners. Based on 25 hours per week, 36 weeks per annum, the pro rata salary would be £14,081 per annum (£26,084 Full Time Equivalent).

Key Responsibilities:
-
To provide one-to-one or small group support under lecturer direction as appropriate in the classroom setting.

To assist with the development of learners’ literacy and numeracy skills.
-
To assist with the pastoral care needs of learners and to direct learners to other college support mechanisms as necessary.
-
To provide learners with help in understanding oral and written instruction.
-
To assist with the co-ordination of learners’ work, record keeping and progress through liaison with lecturing and support staff at all levels within the College.
About you:
-
Maths and English GCSEs: A - C Grade or equivalent
-
Experience of working with young people in a similar job role
-
Knowledge and understanding of the needs of students with additional learning needs/learning difficulties

Confident, resilient, excellent communication and interpersonal skills
