Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly and professional Bartender to join our vibrant hospitality team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating a welcoming atmosphere, preparing and serving beverages, and ensuring guests have an enjoyable experience. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals passionate about hospitality and customer service to develop their skills in a dynamic environment. Previous experience in restaurant or bar settings is preferred, along with a strong understanding of food safety and responsible serving practices.

Duties

Welcome guests warmly and take their orders efficiently
Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with standard recipes and presentation standards
Ensure the bar area is clean, organised, and well-stocked at all times
Check identification to verify legal drinking age and adhere to licensing regulations
Handle cash transactions accurately and process payments using the POS system
Maintain high levels of hygiene and food safety standards throughout all activities
Engage with guests to create a friendly atmosphere, promoting repeat business
Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth service during busy periods
Monitor guest intoxication levels and intervene responsibly as necessary

Experience

Previous experience working as a bartender or in a similar hospitality role is highly desirable
Knowledge of food safety regulations and responsible alcohol service practices
Strong skills in serving, with an emphasis on customer satisfaction and professionalism
Basic maths skills for handling transactions accurately
Excellent time management abilities to prioritise tasks effectively during busy shifts
Familiarity with restaurant or bar operations, including POS systems and stock management
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
