Pay Rate: £37, 000.00
Grade: RCS M
Contract Type: Permanent (Full-Time)
Shift patterns: 4 on, 4 off Day Shift 06:00 - 17:30
Location: Skelmersdale - WN8 8DY

We're now looking for a Warehouse Shift Manager to lead, motivate and develop a high-performing team while ensuring efficient, accurate, and customer-focused warehouse operations in a fast-paced, time-critical environment.

✅WHAT YOU'LL DO

To directly assist operational management by initiating, monitoring and reporting on the effectiveness of all warehousing activities and staff performance of your designated shift
To manage and implement productivity by communicating job expectations to direct line reports, whilst ensuring that all deadlines are safely met within allocated time frames and always maintaining standards of excellence
Responsible for Health and Safety across the operation and driving a Safety First Culture, to ensure all staff are safe within the workplace at all times
Support a continuous improvement programme to increase efficient and effective working practices within the operation

✅THIS ROLE WOULD SUIT PEOPLE WHO

Proven people management experience within a warehouse environment, ideally in e-commerce or other fast-paced, high-volume operations
Experience managing next-day or time-critical order fulfilment processes
Strong customer focus with the ability to build and maintain effective working relationships
IT literate with good working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Warehouse Management Systems
