Job Type: Full-time, Term Time Only - Fixed Term Contract for 1 Term (to cover staff absence)
Salary: Competitive, depending on skills and qualification

Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Art Teacher to join our team. This is a fixed term contract, initially for 1 term (1 September to 31 December 2026) to cover staff absence.
The successful candidate will inspire students across Years 3- 8 to develop a love for art.
Responsibilities
- Deliver high quality, inspiring and creative art lessons to pupils in Years 3 - 8 to meet the needs of all children and develop each individual's enthusiasm and talent
- To promote and develop excellence in the teaching and learning of art across the school, including providing support to colleagues in the lower school with their teaching of art.
- To be a form tutor, as required providing pastroral care and support
- Full involvement in co-curricular activities, according to strengths
Skills
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) Qualification
- Art Qualification, such as degree or A Level
- Proven experience of teaching art at all ability ranges
- Good understand of curriculum
- Knowledge, understanding and commitment to safeguarding, equal opportunities and health and safety
