Full job description

Job Summary
We are seeking for a creative and organised part-time marketing coordinator to support the growth and online presence of both The Outdoor Room — our landscape design and construction company — and Pots & Pithoi, our outdoor pots and garden feature brand.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing our social media channels, maintaining our website, and implementing marketing strategies to engage our target audience. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in public relations and digital marketing within a supportive team environment for two established brands.

Responsibilities

Manage and schedule content across Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, LinkedIn, and other relevant platforms
Create engaging posts, reels, TikToks, stories, and project updates for both brands
Photograph and film completed landscape projects, products, installations, and works in progress
Produce and edit short-form video content for social media marketing and advertising
Update and maintain website content, galleries, blogs, and SEO
Assist with branding, brochures, email campaigns, and marketing materials
Develop marketing ideas to attract high-quality residential clients and customers
Monitor social media performance and recommend improvements
Help build brand awareness within the landscaping, construction, horticulture, and outdoor living sectors
Monitor industry trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities for brand growth.
Assist in the creation of promotional materials such as newsletters, flyers, and press releases.

Skills

Experience in social media management, marketing, videography, or digital content creation
Strong understanding of Instagram, TikTok, reels, and visual marketing
Good photography, videography, and video editing skills
Basic website editing experience
Excellent written communication and attention to detail
Ability to work independently and bring fresh ideas
Interest in landscaping, architecture, construction, horticulture, and outdoor design is highly desirable
Creative thinker with a keen eye for detail and visual aesthetics. This role provides an excellent platform for individuals passionate about digital marketing and brand development to make a meaningful impact while advancing their professional expertise.

Whilst not necessary, it would be advantageous to have:

Graphic design experience (Canva, Adobe Suite, etc.)
SEO knowledge
Drone photography/video
Experience working with trades, construction, retail, or design-focused businesses
