Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Commercial Gas Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining, and repairing commercial gas systems across various sites. This role requires a strong understanding of mechanical and plumbing systems, as well as the ability to work independently or as part of a team. The position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with practical skills in engineering and maintenance, committed to delivering high standards of safety and quality.

Responsibilities

Service and repair commercial gas systems in accordance with industry standards and safety regulations
Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance on gas appliances and associated equipment
Troubleshoot technical issues efficiently, ensuring minimal disruption to clients’ operations
Use hand tools, power tools, and other mechanical tools to complete tasks accurately
Perform basic plumbing and heatingtasks related to system installation and repairs
Maintain detailed records of work performed, including inspections, repairs, and parts used via online protal
Ensure all work complies with health and safety legislation and company policies
Assist with the assembly of new systems or components as required

Skills

Proven experience in plumbing or mechanical maintenance within a commercial environment
Strong mechanical knowledge relevant to gas systems and associated infrastructure
Good organisational skills with attention to detail in record keeping and reporting
Ability to work independently or collaboratively within a team setting
Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to troubleshooting issues
