Position Commercial Account Handler

Reporting Line: Commercial Team Leader – Commercial Director

Location: Maidstone

Salary: £Negotiable + Benefits

Job Objective:

We are currently seeking a Commercial Account Handler to provide customer service to our clients within our professional and welcoming Maidstone office. Brown & Brown offers high‑quality, specialist insurance solutions to Commercial clients throughout the UK. We continue to achieve excellent customer satisfaction and retention by focusing on long‑term relationships and delivering tailored, technically robust advice.

What does the ideal candidate look like?

There is no minimum educational entry level required, or previous experience that would not be considered. However, some Commercial insurance experience is desirable with technical knowledge of:

Property Owners
Tradesman
SME Package Business
Commercial Combined
Combined Liability
Contractors All Risk Covers
Previous Acturis use a benefit

The successful applicant will need to demonstrate the following skills;

Effective communication - both written and verbal
Ability to work alone and as part of a team
High attention to detail
Form and develop strong insurer and client relationships
High level customer service skills
Time management and organisational skills
Analytical and problem solving skills

Providing the best possible customer experience and specialist advice in line with Company’s core values, and undertaking accurate administrative tasks. The role may be suitable for someone with insurance knowledge looking to progress in a career in Commercial Insurance.
