Job Summary
We are seeking enthusiastic and professional Waiting Staff to join our vibrant hospitality team. The ideal candidate will deliver exceptional guest service in a fast-paced restaurant environment, ensuring a memorable dining experience for all patrons. Previous experience in a similar role is advantageous, but a positive attitude and willingness to learn are equally valued. This position offers an excellent opportunity to develop your skills within the hospitality industry while working in a welcoming and dynamic setting.

Duties

Greet guests warmly and present menus with enthusiasm
Take accurate food and beverage orders, ensuring special dietary requirements are noted
Serve food and drinks efficiently whilst maintaining high standards of presentation and cleanliness
Provide knowledgeable recommendations to guests, upselling menu items where appropriate
Ensure tables are cleared promptly and reset for new guests
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of service areas in compliance with food safety standards
Assist with basic food preparation tasks as needed, supporting kitchen staff during busy periods
Handle guest enquiries professionally, resolving issues promptly to ensure satisfaction
Process payments accurately and efficiently using the POS system
Uphold all health and safety regulations, including food safety protocols

Experience

Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant service is preferred but not essential; training will be provided for motivated individuals
Familiarity with serving techniques and guest service standards is advantageous
Knowledge of food safety regulations and basic food preparation skills are desirable
Ability to manage time effectively during busy service periods
Strong communication skills and a friendly demeanour are essential for providing excellent guest experiences
Basic maths skills for handling bills and transactions confidently
Experience working in kitchens or culinary environments is a plus but not mandatory
