Overview
We are seeking a reliable and professional Driver/Porter to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting clients goods, on our vehicles and also assisting with loading and stacking the vehicles.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate company vehicles, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations
- Load and unload goods, ensuring proper handling and securement of items during transit
- Deliver goods to clients or designated locations within specified timeframes
- Communicate effectively with team members and clients
- Maintain the cleanliness and routine maintenance of the vehicle
- Complete all necessary documentation related to deliveries and vehicle logs accurately
Requirements
- Prior experience as a delivery driver or in a similar commercial driving role is preferred
- Valid <PERSON> driver’s licence with a clean driving record
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently
- Strong communication skills to liaise effectively with team members and clients
- Physical fitness suitable for handling manual tasks associated with loading and unloading goods
