Mactech require a Piping Supervisor (Black Hat) for long-term work at Hinkley Point C, starting ASAP (subject to successful vetting and onboarding).
We would like to speak with candidates who have demonstrable experience in a similar role on large-scale engineering/construction projects with one the following qualifications and a valid CCNSG with either SSSTS/LATS/IOSH
- Level 3 Apprenticeship in Pipefitting, Pipework Fabrication, Pipe Welding or Marine Plumbing.
Minimum Level 3 Diploma Pipefitting, Pipework Fabrication, Pipe Welding or Marine Plumbing.
(Minimum Level 6 in the above if apprenticeship/qualification awarded in Scotland)
- Modern Apprenticeship in Heating and Ventilating Installation
ACE Card in Pipefitting
PAYE Pay Rates (in line with the SSA Site Agreement)
- Basic: £32.55
- OT1: £45.57
- OT2: £58.59
- Bonus: Up to 15% (£4.88)
- £53.39 per day / £373.73 per week lodge allowance
- Return rail and travel time
- Direct employment
Working pattern:
10 days on / 4 days off (Tuesday through to the following Thursday), day shift.
This role is expected to last up to 2 years.
