Reservations Agent
As a Reservations Agent, you’ll be the warm, knowledgeable first point of contact at The Grove—welcoming potential guests via phone, email, or webchat and ensuring every booking begins with five-star care.
About the Role
● Handle guest enquiries via phone, email, and webchat with professionalism and warmth.
● Collaborate across departments—Meetings & Events, Spa, Golf, Activities, F&B, and Accounts—to ensure seamless bookings.
● Use internal systems efficiently to manage reservations.
● Support a smooth, high-quality guest experience from initial enquiry through to arrival.
Key Responsibilities
● Respond quickly and courteously to all booking enquiries.
● Coordinate bookings with relevant departments.
● Maintain accurate reservation records (using Opera Cloud)
● Communicate clearly and professionally—both spoken and written.
● Flexibly cover shifts including weekends.
Typical shifts: 08:30–17:00, 09:00–17:30, 09:30–18:00
What We’re Looking For
Essential:
● Team player with a passion for hospitality and guest satisfaction
● Excellent verbal and written communicationskills
● Quick learner with adaptability to reservation systems
● Friendly, professional guest interaction style
● Ability to multitask under pressure
Desirable:
● Experience with: Opera Cloud / SevenRooms / Trybe
● Previous reservations or customer-facing experience in luxury 5-star hospitality
