Cleveland Clinic London are looking for General x-ray Radiographers to join our Bank Team within the Imaging Department at Cleveland Clinic London with a competitive pay rate. In this role, you will assists with the running of the X-ray and Fluoroscopy Services; supervising technical and clerical personnel; developing the service to fit with changing demands; As a Bank Radiographer, you will work as part of a team and under the overall guidance of the Radiology Manager to ensure the highest standard of service to patients, consultants and visitors.

What will your duties include?
- Monitors, evaluates and reports status of the X-ray and Fluoroscopy departmental operations. Acts as a liaison internally and externally.
- Professionally and legally responsible for all aspects of own practice, working within national legislation, departmental and hospital wide policy, Code of Conduct and professional guidelines ensuring delivery of imaging services emulates "best practices".
- Assist Radiography Leads and management team to develop new and maintain existing Imaging Service policies, procedures and protocols; to reflect recognised best practice and are practical in application.
- Maintain a work environment that fosters quality care delivery, accountability and employee satisfaction.
- Assist implementation of new patient care services to keep the Institute market competitive and produce positive clinical outcomes; keeps abreast of current practice trends.
- Provide direct patient care in specialty areas.
- Use good radiographic techniques and modify as clinically appropriate. Have the technical ability to manipulate a range of equipment, whilst maintaining patient comfort and adequately communicate with patients and colleagues to ensure the safe movement of patients into imaging position. Use appropriate touch techniques to locate external bony landmarks.

What we need from you?
- Bachelors Degree (BSc) in Radiography, DCR(D) Diploma of the College of Radiographers or equivalent required.
- Recent clinical experience working as a Radiographer in an acute hospital is essential.
- Healthcare Professional Council (HCPC) registration.
- Highly developed specialist Diagnostic Radiology knowledge, underpinned by theory and experience.
- Understanding of radiographic equipment in the context of how images are produced for both ionising and non-ionising radiation imaging methods and how images are appropriately shared and/or stored.
Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgement and the ability to work autonomously.
