Full job description

We are looking to appoint Teaching Assistant to work at Whipton Barton Federation. The salary is offered at Grade B, at £19,109 per annum. Working hours will be 33.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday over 38 weeks (term time) and ½ an hour each day working as a Meal Time Assistant. This post is subject to satisfactory references, a probationary period and an enhanced DBS check.

Responsibilities
- Assist the lead teacher in implementing lesson plans and activities for children.
- Provide support to students with special needs, including those with autism.
- Help maintain a safe and inclusive learning environment.
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, and other staff members.
- Assist with toddler care and supervision as needed.
- Collaborate with the teaching team to ensure a positive educational experience for all students.
