Job Description
Core Maintenance is looking for a reliable, hardworking, and experienced Multi-Skilled Property Maintenance Operative to join our growing team covering Plymouth and surrounding areas across Devon.
This is a varied hands-on role ideal for someone who enjoys practical work and takes pride in keeping properties clean, maintained, and presentable both inside and out. The successful candidate will be expected to carry out a mixture of cleaning, general maintenance, gardening, and property upkeep duties across multiple residential and commercial sites.
The role requires somebody who is proactive, dependable, flexible with working hours, and capable of working independently while maintaining high standards at all times.
Duties Include:
- Sparkle cleans and detail cleans
- Show home and void property cleaning
- General property maintenance and handyman tasks
- Window cleaning
- Carpet cleaning and stain removal
- Patio and balcony cleaning
- End of tenancy cleans
- Grass cutting and lawn maintenance
- Garden maintenance, hedge trimming, weeding, and tidying
- External property upkeep
- Supporting maintenance teams across multiple sites
- Reporting maintenance issues when identified
- Ensuring all work is completed to a high standard
Requirements:
- Previous sparkle cleaning experience essential
- Previous handyman or general maintenance experience essential
- Gardening experience including grass cutting, mowing, and weeding essential
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent attention to detail and pride in your work
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Flexible and proactive attitude towards work
- Full clean UK driving licence is required
- CSCS card desirable or willingness to obtain one
- Ability to travel between sites daily
- Good time management and organisational skills
Working Hours:
- Monday to Friday
- 8:00am – 5:00pm
- Minimum 40 hours per week
- Overtime available evenings and weekends depending on workload
- Flexibility is required as workloads and locations may vary daily
