Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and physically capable Driving Labourer to join our construction team. The successful candidate will be responsible for transporting materials and assisting with various labouring tasks across multiple sites. This role offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in diverse aspects of construction work, patios, masonry,wood work, and fabrication. The position requires a proactive attitude, safety awareness, and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

Safely operate company vehicles to transport materials, tools, and equipment to and from sites.
Assist tradespeople with tasks such as carrying materials, setting up scaffolding, and preparing work areas.
Support with general labouring duties including site clearance, debris removal, and organisation of materials.
Aid in the installation or assembly of construction components where required.
Follow health and safety protocols at all times to ensure a safe working environment.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of tools and equipment on-site.
Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines efficiently.

Skills

Experience or familiarity with carpentry, roofing, construction painting, plumbing, masonry, welding, electrical work or fabrication is highly desirable.
Proficient in the use of hand tools and power tools relevant to construction tasks.
Strong organisational skills with the ability to follow instructions accurately.
Good physical fitness with the capacity for manual handling of heavy materials and equipment.
Excellent teamwork skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Valid driving licence with clean driving record is essential for operating company vehicles safely.
Awareness of health and safety regulations pertinent to construction environments. This role is ideal for motivated individuals seeking practical experience within the construction industry while contributing to diverse projects across various trades. All positions are paid in accordance with employment standards.

Pay: £140.00-£160.00 per day
