Full job description

We are a busy wholesale food distribution centre supplying a wide range of products to restaurants, retailers, and catering businesses. Due to continued growth, we are looking for a reliable and hardworking Warehouse Operative / Driver to join our team at our family run business in Bude.

Full training / inductions on procedures will be provided.

Key Responsibilities

Warehouse Duties:

Picking and load customer orders accurately
Loading and unloading deliveries
Organising and maintaining stock
Ensuring the warehouse is clean and safe
Conducting stock checks and reporting discrepancies

Driving Duties:

Delivering goods to customers in a timely manner
Planning delivery routes efficiently
Ensuring all deliveries are completed accurately
Maintaining the cleanliness and basic upkeep of the vehicle
Providing excellent customer service on delivery

Requirements

Valid UK driving licence (essential)
Previous warehouse or delivery experience preferred
Good level of physical fitness (lifting involved)
Strong attention to detail
Punctual, reliable, and team-oriented
Good communication skills

Pay & Hours of work:

Start time 08.00 hrs usually with job till finish (Monday to Saturday with a day off in the week).
Wages are paid on a Monthly basis.
Holiday accrued from your first shift (No Holidays allowed in July/August)
