Full job description

AMC is looking for a reliable and detail-focused Accounts Administrator / Finance Assistant to support the day-to-day running of our accounts function.

This role is ideal for someone who is organised, proactive, and confident managing financial processes in a busy working environment.

Key Responsibilities:

* Managing day-to-day accounts and maintaining accurate financial records

* Running and maintaining the factoring account

* Raising and processing sales invoices

* Credit control and liaising with customers to ensure timely payments

* Assisting with purchase ledger and supplier payments

* Bank reconciliations using Xero

* Producing regular financial and management reports

* Supporting general accounts and office administration

Requirements:

* Previous experience in an accounts or finance role (essential)

* Strong working knowledge of Xero

* Experience with factoring accounts (preferred but not essential)

* Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills

* Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively

* Good communication skills
