The Dental Lounge – Haddington
Full-Time | 40 Hours per Week | Monday–Friday

The Dental Lounge in Haddington is looking for an experienced and motivated Practice Manager to lead our friendly and professional team in a modern mixed NHS and private dental practice.

This is an exciting opportunity for a commercially aware manager who is passionate about delivering excellent patient care, supporting team performance, and driving practice growth in a high-quality clinical environment.

The Dental Lounge is a modern, forward-thinking dental practice offering both NHS and private dentistry in a welcoming and patient-focused setting. We pride ourselves on delivering exceptional care, maintaining high clinical standards, and creating a positive experience for both patients and staff.

The Role

As Practice Manager, you will oversee the day-to-day running of the practice, ensuring operational efficiency, compliance, team leadership, and an outstanding patient journey.

You will work closely with clinicians and support staff to maintain a productive, professional, and commercially successful practice environment.

Key Responsibilities

Manage the daily operations of the practice
Lead, motivate, and support the dental team
Ensure compliance with all regulatory and health & safety requirements
Monitor practice performance, KPIs, and financial targets
Drive patient growth and retention
Manage staffing, rotas, recruitment, and team development
Maintain high standards of patient care and customer service
Liaise with suppliers, laboratories, and external stakeholders
Support the continued growth of private treatments and services

About You

We are looking for someone who:

Has previous management experience, ideally within healthcare or dental settings
Demonstrates strong commercial awareness and business acumen
Is confident leading and developing teams
Has excellent communication and organisational skills
Can manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Is proactive, professional, and patient-focused
Understands the importance of compliance and operational excellence
