About the role

We are currently seeking a Warehouse & Logistics Operative – Aviation to join our team in Newport. In this role, you'll play a crucial part in handling customer inquiries and ensuring timely order processing. If you possess strong organisational skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office, and a proactive attitude, we would love to hear from you.

Responsibilities:

Handling customer requests for materials, sales, and exchange inquiries
Meeting AOG deadlines to ensure customer satisfaction
Preparing orders for shipment to vendors and customers
Coordinating deliveries with couriers for expedited service
Performing data entry using Quantum system
Maintaining an organized filing system
Receiving materials from suppliers and conduct quality control inspections
Handling and store aeronautical parts, including electro-sensitive devices
Addressing queries and manage rejected parts
Packing parts for domestic or export dispatch
Maintaining shipping documentation
Collaborating with colleagues across departments to ensure smooth company operations
Performing other reasonable tasks as needed.

Experience & Skills:

Strong organisational skills with attention to detail.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
Passion for learning and proactive attitude.
Valid driver's license beneficial
Familiarity with Quantum Inventory system beneficial
Forklift truck license desirable
Hazardous Goods in Transit certificate advantageous
Excellent communication skills with a customer-centric approach.
Ability to work independently and in a dynamic team.
Thrives in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
