About the Role
Metal Craft Southwest Ltd are looking for a skilled Fabricator/Welder to join our team here in our busy workshop. You’ll be responsible for fabricating metal components, carrying out MIG/TIG welding, and producing high‑quality work from engineering drawings. This is a hands‑on workshop role with varied, interesting projects and plenty of opportunity to grow.
Key Responsibilities
- Metal fabrication including cutting, shaping, and assembling components
- MIG/TIG welding to a high standard
- Reading and interpreting technical drawings
- Operating workshop machinery and hand tools
- Quality‑checking completed work
- Maintaining a clean, safe, and efficient workspace
What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience as a Welder Fabricator
- Must have strong experience in stainless TIG welding.
- Must have strong mild steel MIG welding skills
- Have experience in Aluminium
- Ability to read engineering drawings
- Good attention to detail
- Reliable, proactive approach to work
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
