Job Overview
We are seeking skilled CNC Programmers, Operators, Setters, and Machinists to join our manufacturing team. The successful candidates will be responsible for operating, setting up, and maintaining CNC machinery to produce high-quality components. Duties
- Operate CNC machines to produce parts according to technical specifications and drawings
- Set up and calibrate CNC equipment, ensuring optimal performance and accuracy
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on machinery to minimise downtime
- Use hand tools and power tools for assembly, fitting, and finishing tasks
- Read and interpret CAD drawings and SolidWorks models for precise machining processes
- Conduct quality checks using basic math skills to verify dimensions and tolerances
- Utilise tooling knowledge to select appropriate cutting tools and fixtures
- Assist with plastics injection moulding processes when required
- Engage in welding activities as needed for assembly or repair tasks
- Maintain a clean and organised work environment adhering to safety standards
Requirements
- Proven experience in operating CNC machinery, including milling or grinding equipment
- Familiarity with CAD software such as SolidWorks or similar programmes
- Mechanical knowledge related to tooling, assembly, and fabrication processes
- Competence in using hand tools, power tools, and basic measuring instruments
- Understanding of plastics injection moulding techniques is advantageous
- Basic math skills for measurements, calculations, and quality control checks
- Experience with welding processes is desirable but not essential
- Strong organisational skills with attention to detail and safety compliance
- Ability to work effectively within a team environment in a fast-paced setting
