As a Paralegal within our Social Housing team, you will provide essential support to Legal Advisers across both contentious and non-contentious matters. You will gain valuable exposure to a varied caseload and play an integral role in ensuring the efficient delivery of legal services to our clients.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Assisting with the management of case files and legal documentation
- Drafting correspondence, court documents, and bundles
- Undertaking legal research and preparing briefing notes
- Liaising professionally with clients, external stakeholders, and third parties
- Supporting housing litigation matters and advisory work as required
- Maintaining accurate records and progressing matters in line with deadlines
We are looking for a proactive and organised individual who is keen to build a career within social housing law.
The successful candidate will demonstrate:
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- The ability to manage competing priorities effectively
- A professional and client-focused approach
- Previous experience within a legal environment (desirable)
- A law degree or equivalent qualification (preferred)
- An interest in social housing and the wider sector would be advantageous.
