Job Summary
We’re looking for a reliable and customer-focused 7.5T Multi-Drop Driver to join our Newhaven team. This is a permanent role delivering to a wide range of hospitality, catering, education and healthcare customers.
About the Role
You will be responsible for completing multi-drop deliveries using a 7.5 tonne vehicle, ensuring deliveries are carried out safely, efficiently, and to a high standard of customer service.
Routes and vehicles will be prepared in advance, allowing you to focus on delivering on time and providing a professional service at each stop. You will typically complete multi-drop deliveries across the South East, unloading goods at customer premises and ensuring orders are delivered accurately.
This is a physically active role involving manual handling. You will build relationships with regular customers and act as a key representative of the business on the road.
You will also complete delivery paperwork and use a PDA system, carry out daily vehicle checks, and follow all company and road safety procedures. Clear communication with the transport team is important, ensuring any issues are reported and resolved promptly.
About You
You must hold a valid C1 (7.5T) licence, Driver CPC, and Digital Tachograph card, and be confident driving a 7.5 tonne vehicle.
Previous multi-drop delivery experience is preferred, ideally within a foodservice or distribution environment.
You take pride in providing a high standard of customer service and are reliable, organised. You’re comfortable with physical work and understand the importance of safety, accuracy, and professionalism in everything you do.
