Full job description

A superb permanent role has arisen for an experienced family law solicitor or legal executive to join a leading law firm on the Fylde Coast.

We are looking to recruit a full-time family law fee earner dealing with both private and public funding work. You will work closely with the Head of Department and help to grow our family law department. This is an excellent opportunity for someone to join a small team that is well-established in the area, based at our Thornton-Cleveleys office.

Our firm

We are a multi-disciplinary high street law firm that has been operating across the Fylde Coast for over 80 years
Coastal location commutable from Lancaster, Preston and East Lancashire

The ideal candidate

Qualified solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive with experience in family law
Member of the Advanced Family Law panel and/or Children Panel would be an advantage
Experienced in handling a caseload of family law matters including divorce, finance, injunctions and children matters
Advocacy experience preferred
Excellent organisational skills to manage caseload effectively
Ability to communicate complex legal matters clearly and concisely to clients

You will need to build strong working relationships with clients in the region as well as participate in business development activities, identifying opportunities for cross-referrals.
