At Derwen College, our campus is more than buildings and grounds — it is a place where students learn, grow, and gain independence. We are looking for someone who can help ensure our estates and facilities continue to provide a safe, inclusive, and inspiring environment for everyone.
Working closely with the Estates team, you will coordinate and support a wide range of projects across the College, including:

Refurbishments and maintenance improvements

Campus upgrades and new developments

Contractor coordination and supplier management
-
Project planning, scheduling, budgets, and reporting

Procurement, purchase orders, and project documentation
-
Health & safety and compliance monitoring
-
Sustainability and environmental initiatives
You will also support day-to-day estates operations, helping keep the campus running smoothly with minimal disruption to students, staff, and visitors.
We are looking for someone who is:

Highly organised with excellent time management skills

Able to manage multiple priorities and deadlines

A confident communicator who works well with contractors, staff, and stakeholders

Detail-focused and proactive in solving problems

Comfortable using Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook

A team player who enjoys working in a collaborative environment
- Project coordination within estates, facilities, construction, or maintenance

Experience in education, care, or SEND environments

Knowledge of project management methods such as PRINCE2

IOSH Managing Safely qualification (or willingness to achieve)

Awareness of sustainability best practice

Full UK driving licence or ability to travel between sites
