Full job description

We have a position available at our site in Didcot for a facilities cleaner.

Shift Pattern:

Monday to Friday 0600-1330

You will work as part of a team to carry out all Facility cleaning services on site. You will provide great service to our clients by ensuring that standards are maintained through adherence to the set processes on site. You will have high standards of cleanliness naturally and take pride in the work that you do.

You will report to the Service Delivery Manager

Responsibilities

Key responsibilities

Ensuring the office are thoroughly cleaned each night to a high standard
Cleaning of staff facilities such as the canteen and toilets
Replenish any consumables required
Occasional working in the warehouse
Maintain a clean and safe working environment at all times
Adhere to all ISM and client health and safety rules and requirements
Wear any required personal protective equipment (PPE) or site-specific clothing as directed
Vacuuming of rooms and corridors and emptying of waste bins
Dusting and wiping furniture, ledges, chairs, and skirting boards
Sweeping and mopping floor surfaces
Report anything in need of repair or replacement
Record all cleaning tasks as directed
Maintain good relations with client staff, contractors, and visitors to the site

Skills Required

Work on their own initiative and organise their own time as they will be managed remotely
Ability to work flexibly as part of a team
React to feedback appropriately to provide great service to customers
Good attention to detail to deliver high standards
Good written and verbal communication skills are essential to communicate with customers and managers and comply with Health & Safety regulations.

Experience

Previous cleaning experience is desired but not essential
The ability to learn, and the capability to develop skills further
