We are looking for a hardworking, reliable and enthusiastic seasonal grounds team member to join our friendly team covering Durdle Door Holiday Park and our holiday cottages.
This is a hands-on outdoor role supporting the presentation and maintenance of our holiday park, touring and camping areas, landscaped grounds and holiday cottages. You will help ensure all areas are clean, safe, attractive and maintained to a high standard for our guests and holiday homeowners throughout the season.
Key Responsibilities
Grounds Maintenance
- Carry out daily maintenance of lawns, flower beds, shrubs, hedges, woodland areas, and landscaped spaces.
- Assist with grass cutting, strimming, hedge trimming, pruning, planting, mulching and seasonal gardening duties.
- Undertake litter picking and general upkeep across the holiday park and cottage grounds.
- Maintain footpaths, access routes, communal outdoor spaces and guest areas to a high standard.
- Prepare and maintain touring and camping pitches to ensure they are clean, level, tidy and welcoming for arriving guests.
- Support seasonal tasks including leaf clearance and winter preparation work.
Machinery and Equipment
- Safely operate and maintain grounds maintenance equipment including mowers, strimmer’s, hedge cutters, blowers and other machinery.
- Carry out basic equipment checks and report any faults or maintenance issues promptly.
- Ensure tools and machinery are stored safely and kept in good working order.
Park and Property Presentation
- Help maintain the overall appearance of the holiday park and rental cottages to an exceptional visual standard throughout the season.
- Ensure flower beds, borders, lawns and hedgerows remain healthy, tidy and seasonally appropriate.
- Support landscaping improvement projects and enhancement works around the park and cottages.
- Assist in creating a welcoming environment that reflects the natural beauty of the surrounding coastline and countryside.

We are looking for someone who:
- Enjoys working outdoors in all weather conditions.
- Has a positive, can-do attitude and strong work ethic.
- Is reliable, physically fit and willing to undertake manual outdoor work daily.
- Works well as part of a team and can also use their own initiative.
- Has good attention to detail and takes pride in their work.
- Demonstrates excellent people skills and a friendly, professional manner with guests and colleagues.
- Previous experience in grounds maintenance, gardening, landscaping, or a similar outdoor role would be advantageous, but not essential.

This is a seasonal role until the end of September and working hours will be 39 hours per week: Monday to Thursday 8:00am to 4:30pm and Fridays 8:00am until 3:30pm.
