Position Type: Part-Time (with potential for full-time opportunities)
Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience and qualifications

About the Role

We are seeking an enthusiastic and reliable Sports Coach to join our growing team delivering high-quality physical education lessons and after-school sports clubs across the Purbeck, Poole, and Bournemouth areas.

This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated coach who enjoys working with children and inspiring participation in sport. All lesson plans and session resources will be provided, allowing you to focus on delivering engaging, energetic, and enjoyable coaching sessions.

As our programmes continue to expand, this part-time position has the potential to develop into a full-time role for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver PE lessons in primary schools using pre-prepared lesson plans.
Lead and supervise after-school sports clubs.
Create a positive, inclusive, and safe learning environment for all participants.
Encourage participation, skill development, and enjoyment of physical activity.
Manage groups effectively and maintain high standards of behaviour.
Represent the company professionally when working in schools and community settings.
Travel independently between multiple coaching venues across the local area.

Essential Requirements

Minimum Level 1 Coaching Qualification in any recognised sport or a Sports Degree.
Experience working with children in a coaching, teaching, or sports environment.
Current First Aid qualification.
Full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Reliable, punctual, and organised.
Ability to work independently and confidently lead groups.

Desirable Qualifications & Experience

Level 2 Coaching Qualification.
Previous experience delivering PE lessons in schools.
Multi-sport coaching experience.
Current First Aid qualification.
Enhanced DBS Certificate (or willingness to obtain one).
